17 Condolences for Amy Nicole Collins Day

  • Our hearts are broken as we miss our sister in Christ. I can’t wait to worship Jesus with her again. I continue in prayer and love to her whole family-they are true soldiers of the cross. Cheri and Rich, you raised a beautiful, brave woman of God who had her own opinion but more importantly her own faith. I was honored to sit in Bible Study with her this past year and hear of her repeating the promises of God for her and her children. She loved you and often asked for prayer for you or her other siblings. She was valiant! You are each warriors of Christ and even on the rough days I will be here. Praising God for the kingdom that cannot be shaken! Heb. 12:28

  • We are saddened by the news but celebrate her going home to be with the Lord. Let her life be a shinning light to all and her memories be of love and faith. God bless you and your family.

  • May you rest in eternal peace with our lord and savior Jesus Christ

  • Your strength, love for life, love for others especially family, and your awesome courage lives on in every heart touched by your dedication to loving others as Christ has loved the Church. You will be sorely missed but always lovingly remembered…Love, Lee

  • When I think of Amy I think of Courage of how strong she was. She had courage to stand up for what she believed in,courage to stand up for those who couldn’t stand up for themselves, courage to be different with her ability to transform herself to a superhero because after all she truly was.I will truly miss her texts to me on Sunday nights asking me if I was watching one of our favorite shows and if I could believe what was happening and the banter of what we thought would happen next. She was a star that burned so bright almost blinding.I wish we all had more time to bask in her glow.Rest in peace dear Amy the earth lost a star but heaven gained a angel.

  • Dear family and friends of Amy Day,

I only met Amy once but she made a deep and true impression on me. She came to our church in Chadds Ford, PA to speak to our justice team about the anti-trafficking work that she was so passionate about in Delaware. Amy was a woman of principle, integrity, faith and action, and clearly was in the process of making a lasting impression on her community and on issues of injustice that are so close to God’s heart. Thank you for raising and encouraging such a beautiful woman of God, and please know that she is rejoicing with Him now. I will keep you, and especially her children, in my prayers.

May God’s comfort be real and profound in your lives.

    MaryEllen
