Anna Rubright
August 5, 1929 - August 7, 2016
Anna Rubright, age 87, of Wilmington, DE, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Sunday, August 7, 2016.
Born in Aristes, PA, she was the daughter of the late Helen Raker. A devoted Christian, Anna was a member of Calvary Presbyterian Church. She was an avid Phillies fan, but most importantly, she loved spending time with her family.
In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Rubright; daughters, Carol Husfelt and Sheryl Werkheiser; sisters, Mary Wagner, Faine Hobson, and Belva Shelosky; and grandson, Jeremy Werkheiser.
She is survived by her sisters, Norma Kline, Claire Sienkiewicz, and Brenda Cimino; son-in-law, Steven Werkheiser; grandchildren, Chris (Debbie), Jesse, and Angela Husfelt and Justin and Stephanie Werkheiser; great grandchildren, Kristin, Jessica, Tiffany, CJ, Camron, Julianna, Michael, and Emily; and great great granddaughter, Diana.
A funeral service will be held at 2 pm on Friday afternoon, August 12, 2016 at the chapel of Gracelawn Memorial Park, 2220 N. DuPont Parkway, New Castle, DE where a visitation for family and friends will be held from 1 pm until 2 pm. Interment will follow in the adjoining memorial park.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Calvary Presbyterian Church, 701 S. Maryland Avenue, Wilmington, DE 19804.
