Antoinette Elizabeth Eastwell

Born August 16, 1952

Antoinette Elizabeth Eastwell, known affectionately as “Toni”, age 61, of Newark, DE, passed away peacefully while surrounded by her family on Wednesday, April 23, 2014.

Born in Wilmington, DE on August 16, 1952, Toni was a daughter of Anthony and Elizabeth Cerroni. She made her career as an office manager in the retail industry.

Toni was actively involved with the Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts of America. A few of her titles included, District Committee Chairman, Training Chairman, and Cub Master. She was a mentor to many boys as well as adult leaders. She helped 10 boys achieve the award of Eagle Scout. Toni’s passion and dedication to the organization will not be forgotten.

She was survived by her husband of 21 years, Gary Eastwell, sister, Elizabeth Fleming and brother, John Fleming. Toni will be lovingly remembered by her two daughter’s, Kathy and Felicia Parag and step-daughter, Kari Coffey.

Her grandchildren, Michael and Gabrialle Parag, Jacob Shivery, Brianna Moore and great grand-daughters, Sarah and Jayliana will also miss her very much.

A funeral service will be held at 1:30 pm on Tuesday, April 29, 2014 at the Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 1000 N. DuPont Parkway, New Castle, DE, where family and friends are invited to visit from 12:30 pm until 1:30 pm. Interment will follow in Gracelawn Memorial Park, 2220 N. DuPont Parkway, New Castle, DE. A reception will follow at the St. George’s United Methodist Church, 109 Broad Street, St. Georges, DE.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be sent to Boy Scout Troop 123, c/o St. Georges United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 145, St. Georges, DE 19733.
