  • Dear Andrea, Melissa & Family,

My deepest sympathy to both of you and your extended family. I know what a difficult time this has to be for you both. Know my prayers are with you. Stay strong for each other. My love to you. xo

  • I was saddened to read of Rip’s passing this past Sunday. Rip, Debbie, June, Arty and many other friends and acquaintances share/shared fun and awesome times during the high school years and beyond…our “glory days”. Then, as what often occurs, our adult lives took precedence and I, for one, unfortunately lost touch. But, memories are embedded in my mind and I know that Rip’s death has been sorely felt by all who knew him. Peace

  • Melissa and Christopher we are so sorry for the loss of your father. Your family will be in our thoughts and prayers.

  • So sorry and surprised to hear about RIP.
Like someone said our lives change and we lose touch but not forgotten. RIP and I started at DuPont about the same time and I was lucky to be partnered with him for about two years. We each had a different sense of humor and we played off of each other. Back then DuPont was a great place to work and we made it a hoot. RIP and I constantly out performed the other teams and had fun doing it. Mr. Kalmbacher (Arty) was a Main Shop Supervisor at the time and I had the opportunity to go work for him. My Dad knew Arty and always held him above the other Supervisors because of his integrity and honesty so getting to work with the original was an honor.
Rip was very analytical and moved into the research division so the team was split up. We stayed in touch for a while and when the family responsibilities came along we lost touch. I did get to meet Deb who I leaned on for my banking needs.
Rip left us too early but MR. and Mrs K raised some good people and the world was better with them. I recently had to take a medical retirement and I can’t make the service but my thoughts and prayers are with you all!
