Betty’s mother and my mother were cousins. We grew up playing together.
As adults we drifted apart, but she will always leave fun filled memories with

    Jimmy and Family,

So sorry to hear of Betty’s passing. She was such a genuinely nice and sweet person. Her Mom and my Dad were cousins, so I guess we were cousins too. Good memories of growing up just down the street from Betty, we had a lot of fun. She fought a long and hard battle, and now she can rest. God will take care of her now. Peace and comfort in the coming days for you and your family.

Jim….I always recall our more youthful days and the fun we would have mixed with hard work. Betty had a delightful way and informality with humor that would lighten any gathering. Many are sharing in your loss. Stay strong like you dad.

Although I knew she was ill, Betty’s sparkling, joyous demeanor made it seem as though she was not ill at all. She was always Betty, the warm & affectionate friend, quick to smile and share her enthusiasm for life, her beautiful eyes twinkling! She will always have a special place in my heart.

Dear Jim and family, Betty fought a long and hard battle and never complained about her illness. I’ve know Betty for over 25 yrs through tennis. She was a great person, friend and a wonderful tennis player. I loved the tennis luncheons at your beautiful home, gardens and pool. I’m glad I got to spent time with her and to call her my friend. I will miss her!!!!! Rest in peace to a GREAT person and friend.

to jimmy, Lori, Jennifer, grandchildren and all who loved Betty, what a wonderful and joyous person she was. She was always so supporting of others even when she was facing her own hurtles. We were friends through high school and would reconnect when our paths would cross. I will miss our phone chats and her beautiful spirit.
