Beverly C. Reynolds, age 66, of Newark, DE passed away peacefully on January 2, 2018.

Beverly was born in Chester, PA on April 17, 1951, and was a daughter of the late Lawrence and Louise (Becker) Robbins.  She spent her career as a baker with Acme Markets in Fox Run Shopping Center.

Beverly had a passion for horses and she particularly loved riding her Apache through Brandywine Creek with her sister and working with the horses at Delaware Park.  She loved the snow, palm trees and the beach.  She also enjoyed country music, especially Kenny Rogers.  Beverly met the love of her life, Russell Reynolds, Sr. at the Hollywood Diner where he was the dishwasher and she was a waitress.

Beverly is survived by her daughter, Gypsy Reynolds of New Castle; her sons,  Russell Reynolds, Jr. (Tammy) of Newark and Walter Reynolds, Jr. of Newark; as well as 9 grandchildren; and 2 great grandchildren.

A gathering for family and friends will be held from 10 am until 11 am on Saturday, January 20, 2018, at Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Homes, 1000 North DuPont Parkway, New Castle, DE, where a celebration of life will be held at 11 am.

  • Beverly Reynolds is my grandmother. Im proud to be called her grandaugther. I love you mommom so much and you will be missed. I will remember all the good times we spent together. All the times we spent at the pool and when i spent night with you and gizmo and at the amusement parks and so much more. And im really going to miss talking to you. We talked about everything from secrats to problems through it all you were there. Now i dont know what to do. You were more then a grandmother you were like a best friend. Although we are far apart you are always in my heart although i cant see you. Now your with gizmo and Lola and the rest your dog blizzard again.
