Beverly Pusey Keskemety (Kelly)

December 4, 1934 - September 8, 2017

Beverly Pusey Keskemety (Kelly), affectionately known as Bev, age 82, of Bear, DE passed away on Friday, September 8, 2017.

A lifelong Delawarean, Bev was born in Wilmington on December 4, 1934 and was the daughter of the late Dewey Burton and Martha Ruth (Baker) Pusey. Bev was a 1952 graduate of Wilmington High School. In her early years, she worked as a telephone operator at Bell Telephone before settling down to raise her family.

Active in her community, Bev was an active member of Brandywine Forest #20 Cedarettes and attended Bible Fellowship Church of Newark for many years. She enjoyed many activities throughout her life and especially enjoyed spending time with her family at Possum Point.

In addition to her parents, Beverly is preceded in death by her brothers, Mark and Charles Pusey. She is survived by her loving husband of more than 60 years, Charles G. Keskemety (Kelly); children, Linda Knarr (James) and Brian Keskemety; grandchildren, Shannon (Dave), Diane, Jessica, Jenna, and Jason (Kat); and 1 great granddaughter, Lacey. Beverly was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and dear friend to many.

A visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday, September 14, 2017 at the Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 1000 N. DuPont Parkway, New Castle, DE from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm. A second visitation will be held at 10:00 am until 11:00 am on Friday morning, September 15, 2017 at the funeral home, where a funeral service will be held at 11:00 am. Interment will follow in Gracelawn Memorial Park, 2220 N. DuPont Hwy, New Castle.

Flowers are welcome or memorial contributions can be made to the American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 7023, Merrifield, VA 22116-7023.
