Bonnie S. Petroski, age 60, of New Castle, DE passed away on September 30, 2016.
Born in Wilmington on June 18, 1956, she was a daughter of the late Charles E. and Myrtle S. (Ayers) Wyatt. Bonnie made her career as a bus attendant for handicapped children for the Colonial School District, retiring after 18 years. She adored the children she worked with on the bus.
In her leisure time, Bonnie enjoyed horseback riding and going to the beach. She was an avid bowler at Bowlerama in New Castle.
Bonnie is survived by her loving husband of 37 years, Bruce J. Petroski; brothers, Wayne Wyatt and his wife Willie of Smyrna and Joseph Lee Wyatt of Dover; aunt, Betty (Ayers) Marianelli of Clayton; and numerous nephews, nieces and cousins.
A visitation for family and friends will be held on Wednesday, October 5, 2016 at the Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 1000 N. DuPont Parkway, New Castle, DE from 10:00 am until 11:00 am followed by a funeral service at 11:00 am. Interment will follow in Gracelawn Memorial Park, 2220 N. DuPont Parkway, New Castle, DE.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Bonnie’s name may be made to the American Lung Association, 630 Churchmans Road, Ste. 202, Newark, DE 19702.
