Carmelyna Salvitti, age 85, of Bear, DE, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 9, 2016.
Mrs. Salvitti was born in Bronx, NY on December 15, 1930, and was a daughter of the late Orazio and Nina (Loguidice) Cardile. She made her career as a medical secretary for many years.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Salvitti was preceded in death by her husband, William A. Salvitti, Sr. and her sister, Antoinette Mastrone. She is survived by her children, Michael Salvitti (Laura) of Stratford, NJ, Alfred Salvitti (Barbara) of Glen Riddle, PA, Gina Veith (George) of Bear, DE and William Salvitti, Jr. (Diane) of Aston, PA; brother, Salvatore Cardile (Adele) of Yeadon, PA; and grandchildren, Cindy (Douglas), Nico, Victoria, Sarah, Matthew, Analiese (Andrew), Samantha, Austin, Allegra and Adia.
A funeral service will be held at 12:00 Noon on Saturday, June 18, 2016, at the Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 1000 N. DuPont Parkway, New Castle, DE, where a visitation for family and friends will be held from 10 am until 12 Noon. Interment will be held privately in Holy Cross Cemetery, Yeadon, PA.
