Carolyn K. Wisniewski age 68, of Millsboro, DE, passed away peacefully Friday, August 7, 2015.

Carol was born in Wilmington, DE on November 18, 1946, and was a daughter of the late Stephen and Elsie (Faulkner) Turko. She enjoyed spending time with her family and many friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Betty Langshaw and brothers; Stephen and Eugene Turko. Carol is survived by her beloved husband of 43years, Jerry F. Wisniewski; son, Frank Wisnewski (Cathy); step children, Felicia (Keith) Rogers, Mark Wisniewski, Michael (Yulia) Wisniewski and Tracie (Fred) Burger; 2 grandchildren; 10 step grandchildren and 3 step great grandchildren; her caregiver and nephew Michael Turko and many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 12 Noon on Thursday, August 13, 2015 at the Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 1000 N. DuPont Parkway, New Castle, DE, where a visitation for family and friends will be held from 10 am until 12 Noon. Interment will follow in Gracelawn Memorial Park, 2220 N. DuPont Parkway, New Castle, DE.

In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions maybe made to the Delaware Hospice Center of Milford, 100 Patriots Way Milford, DE 19963 or to theLong Neck Cheer Center, 26089 Long Neck Rd, Millsboro, DE 19966

  • To the family I am sorry for your loss. I will always remember Aunt Kay for everything she has done to help me with my parents before there passing her brother and sister in law. RIP Aunt Kay and say hello to mom and dad. Love you and mean it Miss you all ready.

Also everything you done for me…taking caring of you was the least thing I could do.. we had some good times we cracked each other up. And you always kept me on my toes too while i was staying here and taking care of you and the house..I know we had a couple moments we got some things said that you wanted taking care of and i’ll do my best to get that done for you..Always remember to watch over me keep me straight I need that from you.   • I am so saddened to learn of the passing of Carol. I want to extend my deepest sympathy to Jerry, Frank, Cathy, Gabe, Abigail, and all of the family. We met at he beach when Frank and I were 4. Carol was always wonderful to me. She and Jerry treated me as their own during the times at he beach with Her, Jerry, Frank, grandma and pop pop Whiz. They are some of my fondest memories.
