Carolyn S. Mann - Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Homes & Crematory

Carolyn S. Mann

Carolyn S. Mann, age 90, of Findlay, OH, passed away on Wednesday, February 7, 2018, joining her beloved husband Fred in Heaven.  It was a long awaited reunion.

Born in Denver, CO, Carolyn was a city girl and was smitten when she met a country boy who was stationed at Ft. Lowry AFB, CO.  The sweethearts married in 1953 before he was discharged.  They moved to Dunkirk, OH and later made their home in Findlay, OH.  She dedicated her career to RCA and retired in 1988.  After Fred’s passing in 2000, she stayed local and then moved to Maryland with her daughter, Yvonne and her husband, Chad.

Carolyn had a great love for God and her family.  At any given opportunity she would pray with you and share the great love of Jesus. She was a generous and faithful servant and was such a blessing to others. Carolyn was affiliated with the following churches, Hope Temple, New Life Assembly of God and Findlay Grace Brethren, the last church Fred and her attended together.  The world may be a little dimmer without her but Heaven is shining bright. She loved well on others and it showed.

In addition to her parents, Carolyn was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 47 years, Fred.  She is survived by her daughter, Yvonne R. House (Chad); grandchildren, Blair Smith of Clarksville, TN and Collin Smith (Ashley) of Ft. Wainwright, AK; and great-granddaughter Bella Mia.

A visitation for family and friends will be held from 5 pm until 7 pm on Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 121 West Park Place, Newark,DE.  A second visitation will be held from 5 pm until 7 pm on Thursday, February 15, 2018 at Hufford Family Funeral Home, 1500 Manor Hill Road, Findlay, OH.  Interment will be held privately at Dunkirk Cemetery.
