Chandler Winchester

Chandler Winchester, age 78, of Elkton, MD, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 21, 2016.
Born in Wilmington, Delaware on November 5, 1937, Chandler was the son of the late Elwood and Sarah (Davis) Winchester.
In addition to his parents, Chandler was preceded in death by his sisters, Joan Caleb, and Sally Winchester; brothers, Elwood, Thomas, and John; and a stepson, Charles Wayne Elmore.
Chandler is survived by his beloved wife of 50 years, Mary Ester Lloyd; sister, Nancy Allen; stepsons, Thomas, Leonard, James, and Robert Elmore; stepdaughters, Mary Radziwon, Dorothy French, and Tina Elmore; nine step grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews; and a loyal friend, Janet Gullett.
A funeral service will be held at 12:00 pm on Thursday afternoon, March 3, 2016, at the Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 1000 N. DuPont Parkway, New Castle, DE, where a visitation will be held from 11:00 am until 12:00 pm. Interment will be held in Gracelawn Memorial Park, 2220 N. DuPont Parkway, New Castle, DE.
