Charles E. Hall
September 22, 1955 - September 23, 2015
On Wednesday, September 23, 2015, Charles E. Hall, Charlie, passed away at the age of 60 with his wife and daughters by his side.
Charlie was a native Delawarean, moving to Kemblesville, PA 26 years ago. He was a graduate of DelCastle Vocational High School and was employed as the Facilities Manager for CSBC, in Wilmington, DE.
He is survived by his wife, Jill Williams-Hall with whom he celebrated 27 years of marriage, and his two daughters, Devon and Morgan Hall. In addition to his parents, Harry and Thelma Hall, he is survived by his siblings, Robert Hall, Joyce Marando, and Diane Edwards.
Charlie was known for his kind and gentle soul, who enjoyed nothing more than spending his time with his much beloved daughters, tending to his bees, tinkering with anything mechanical, volunteering with multiple organizations to help those in need, and relaxing with friends and family. He was a member of Stillwaters Presbyterian Church and was a man of full faith who was at peace knowing he would be welcomed into God’s eternal family.
Friends may visit with the family at the Christian Life Center, 125 Saginaw Road, Lincoln University (New London), PA, on Monday, September 28, 2015 from 4 to 6pm. A memorial service celebrating the love and laughter he brought to this world will follow at 6pm.

I knew Charlie over 30 years ago; we used to call him “Chuckles” and he was always good-natured about it. A bunch of us had a house at the Jersey Shore, and he used to come down on his motorcycle, rain or shine, on weekends. He had a reputation for taking interminable showers, and we always joked that he must have gotten stuck on the “lather, rinse, repeat” cycle and didn’t know when to stop. I’ll always remember him as a sweet guy with a great sense of humor. My thoughts are with his wife, daughters and parents–I know how much you’ll miss him.

Jill, I am so sorry for your loss. I have known Charlie for a number of years through our membership in the International Facilities Management Assoc. (IFMA). He was an active member and was always offered his input and was willing to assist when called upon. Needless our association will miss him greatly. May GOD look down and watch over you and your daughters, in order to give you the strength to smile and remember all the accomplishments Charlie had made during his time with us all.

Charlie was truly an amazing person and touched the lives of so many people. I knew Charlie from the Community Service Building. He helped all of us and made a difference in our lives and those of our clients. Plus he always made me smile/laugh 🙂 I know with all my heart that the world is better place because of him – his kindness, dedication, humor, and love!

I was so sad to hear of Charlie’s passing. We were just shooting the breeze a couple weeks ago in the lobby of the Community Service Building. Every day I was lucky enough to run into Charlie was a bright and sunny day from that moment on. He was my friend that will remain with me in my heart every day. May God Bless Charlie, and his family.
