Charles G. Fox, Jr.

Charles G. Fox, Jr., age 78, of Hockessin, DE and formerly of Leesburg, FL, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 26, 2016.
A native Delawarean, Mr. Fox was born in Wilmington on February 5, 1938, and was the son of the late Charles G. and Martha E. (Wright) Fox. He proudly served his country as a member of the Delaware National Guard. A self-employed carpenter, Mr. Fox worked in the construction industry for over 30 years. He enjoyed fishing in his leisure time.
He is survived by his children, Yvette Dyer (James), Denise Daniels and Chuck Fox (Patricia); brother, Larry Fox (Jean); sister, Olive Dalton; former wife, Mary Fox; 7 grandchildren; and 5 great grandchildren.
A visitation for family and friends will be held from 5 pm until 6 pm on Friday evening, December 30, 2016 at the Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 121 W. Park Place, Newark, DE, where a funeral service will be held at at 6 pm. Interment will be held privately.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in honor of Mr. Fox’s beloved canine companion, Chin, may be made to Faithful Friends, 12 Germany Drive, Wilmington, DE 19804.
