Cheryl A. Markland
Mrs. Cheryl A. Markland, age 45, of Newark, DE, passed away on Sunday, March 31, 2013.
A native Delawarean, Cheryl was born in Wilmington on June 21, 1967. She made her career in the banking industry, working as a customer service representative with the former MBNA in Newark.

She is survived by her husband, Joseph J. Markland; her daughter, Kimberly A. Flores of Newark; her son, Robert B. Hunt and fiancée Samantha Dicriscio of Newark; her mother, Beverly A. McCartney Hunt of Newark; her brothers, Tony Hunt and Steve Hunt of Newark and Danny Hunt and wife Michelle of Dover; her precious grandchildren whom she adored, Sierra, Savannah, Selena, Juan Jr., Bobby Jr., and Mariah (with another grandson due in July); and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Veril W. Hunt, and granddaughter, Shyanne M. Flores.
A funeral service will be held at 11 am on Tuesday, April 9, 2013, at the Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 1000 N. DuPont Parkway, New Castle, where visitation will begin at 10 am. Burial will be held privately and at the convenience of the family.
