Clifford H. Weber, age 77, of Pike Creek, DE, died peacefully from heart-related illness on Tuesday, February 21, 2012.
He was a native of Brooklyn, NY, received his B.B.A. and M.B.A. in Advertising from the Baruch College of the City University of New York and also attended New York University. After working as a writer on Madison Avenue, he was recruited by DuPont in 1963, from which he retired as a Marketing Communications Manager.
He was active in the Delaware Saengerbund and received the German-American Friendship Award from the German government in 1989. He served on active and inactive duty with the US Armys 77th Infantry Division and was a member of the the National Rifle Association, the DuPont Country Club, and was a past president of the Sales and Marketing Executives of Wilmington.
He is survived by local friends and numerous relatives from neighboring states.
