  • Mr. Snow was my dear beloved friend and neighbor. During the years I got to know him and would often visit and have coffee and he’d always be bringing out cookies. He introduced me to Dump Cake and would often make it for me when I had to take one somewhere, his always turned out better. I took him often to visit my mom in Pennsylvania and she loved having him there and he enjoyed it so much and thought it was beautiful there, a country boy at heart. He was so good at keeping up his flowers and plants and had a wonderful green thumb, I gave him a few pieces of my plants and would always tell him my thumb was not green when he tried to give me a plant or flower. He was just a sweet dear person who I cared for like he was a family member, he was one in a million, I will never know anyone I think more highly of than I did him. There will be an ache in my heart and a loss in my life with him not being around. I know he is in a better place and he dearly missed being able to be outside tending his flowers etc. This neighborhood will all miss him, he was well known and dearly loved.

  • We attended church with Brother Snow and saw him frequently throughout our childhood. He and our granny (Geneva Farmer) were great friends. He was always a very kind and helpful man. Our thoughts and prayers go out to your family at this time.

  • What a great uncle! God blessed us with Uncle Coy in our lives. Always pleasant, kind, joyful and giving. We’ll miss our visits and phone calls. Remembering the Snow Family and wishing all of you peace.

  • I just learned of Mr. Snow’s passing & just wanted to send along my heartfelt condolences to the family. I only knew Mr. Snow a brief 2 yrs. working in the Town of Elsmere. Whenever He saw us working on his street near his house, He often made it a point to come out & say hi! I especially loved listening to him speak of the “old” days, & his history living in the Town. I, for one, will dearly miss Mr. Snow & his friendly smile, & always cherish the few times I had sitting on his front yard swing & talking with him. Mr. Snow & His Family are in my thoughts & prayers. Sincerely, John Mahoney. Elsmere Public Works.
