Danielle M. Jacobs, age 67, of New Castle, DE passed away peacefully at home, while surrounded by her family on Friday, April 4, 2014.

Born in Philadelphia, PA on May 14, 1946, Danielle was the daughter of the late Daniel Jacobs and Elizabeth Stromeyer. She was a devoted homemaker and mother.

An avid Phillies fan, Danielle enjoyed cheering on her favorite team each season. She loved baking, especially batches of delicious Christmas cookies that she happily shared with family and friends. In her leisure time, Danielle liked fishing and dancing. She was a kind and compassionate person who will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Danielle is survived by her children, Susan Sparks, Kenny Sampson and Donna Bramlett (Travis); brothers, David Jacobs (Maria), Bruce Jacobs (Pat) and Brian Jacobs; 6 grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 11 am on Friday morning, April 11, 2014, at the Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 1000 N. DuPont Parkway, New Castle, DE, where a visitation will be held from 10 am until 11 am. Interment will follow in Gracelawn Memorial Park, 2220 N. DuPont Parkway, New Castle, DE.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Vitas Hospice, 100 Commerce Drive, Ste. 302, Newark, DE 19713.
