6 Condolences for David Ableman

  • I’m sorry to hear of your loss I lost my mother and what helped me was the bibles hope of a resurrection at John 5:28,29 at a time when there is no sickness pain or death anymore according to Revelation 21:3,4.Please read these scriptures and may the God of comfort give you comfort in this time of bereavement.

  • My sincere condolences to David’s family. Please take comfort knowing David is with God.

  • Mrs. Ableman, Betty and Tom, I’m truly sorry to hear your loss of Dave, my friend. Years ago, Sept. 1977, together we made a long journey, one that took us across the great Ohio River. Together we were treated to a tour of the capital of Ohio in Columbus. We crossed the mighty Mississippi River, together we touched the gateway arch to St.Louis, walked the banks and viewed the river boats rolling on the river. Together we traveled the flat lands and miles of corn fields in Kansas, we enjoyed the company of an American Indian and traveled with a real cowboy carrying a six shooter. We rode upward the mighty Rocky Mountains thru the Eisenhower Tunnel, together. For us, it was the top of the world and cold. When we came down, we found ourselves in the lights and glam of Las Vegas, we toasted and enjoyed for a night. Lucky us, we got a one way ride thru the Mojave desert, the heat. Together we enjoyed the company of an old professor/teacher from UCLA, in Pasadena California. Together we walked thru a community known as Watts, two long hair white boys, smiling and waving to all, we received back the same. One of the many good times I had with Dave. I can still hear his turkey call, many laughs. He could make all of us laugh so hard, good times for sure. Go West my friend, go West, one day I’ll catch up with ya, we’ll chew the rag for sure, till then, say hi to Joe for me. Dave, RIP my friend.

  • Dear Irene and Betty,
My sincerest condolences. I have fond memories of David and I on the living room floor playing with that electronic football game. He would tease me , too, which was not so funny. Our life’s path has taken us down different roads from Talbot Drive but we continue to share our memories and sadness of lost loved ones. I love you and will pray for Gods perfect peace to help you through this time .

  • To Dave’s Family,
My thoughts are with you at this time. Dave was my husband’s best friend thru childhood into adulthood. They did everything together and at times inseparable. Unfortunately, my husband John had to choose his family or his friends. His choice was a good one. I am so sorry for your loss. John is heartbroken but we have been sharing many fond memories of the Dave during these past days. Dave will always and forever be in our hearts.

  • Colleen, David was 13 when I went off to college so I lost touch with David and his friends during his teenage and young adult years. I am so grateful that you and John came to the funeral. John filled me in on his adventures with Dave that I would have never known. After seeing you and John, I started wondering that if Dave had found a wonderful partner who could understand him, maybe he would still be alive today.
This morning, I started to organize things that we brought back from Dave’s apartment. Found a stack of pictures that looked like scenes taken across America. If John remembers taking these, he is welcome to them.
