Deborah Barlow, age 55, of New Castle, DE, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 18, 2016.

A native Delawarean, Deborah was born in Wilmington on February 17, 1961. She was raised in Newark and was a graduate of William Penn High School. Deborah was employed by Capriotti’s Sandwich Shop in New Castle for over 20 years. A dedicated and truly phenomenal employee, she loved to serve her customers and work alongside her colleagues. In her leisure time, she enjoyed spending time with her co-workers whom she considered family and adding to her extensive teddy bear collection. Deborah was loved by many and will be truly missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her longtime companion, Greg Pope who passed away in 2012. In addition to her work family, Deborah is survived by her parents, Nicholas and Mary; brothers, Nicholas, John and Fred; and sister, Clara.

Family and friends are invited to attend a celebration of life at 6:30 pm on Sunday evening, July 10, 2016 at the Police and Fire Rod and Gun Club, 1 N. Glen Avenue, New Castle, DE. Interment will be private.
