Debra J. Evans, age 59, of Elkton, MD, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, October 4, 2015.

Born in Milford, DE on August 22, 1956, Debra was a daughter of the late Herbert H. Passwaters and Pauline (Walters) Passwaters. She made her career as a general manager at Classic Image where she was employed for 32 years. In her younger years, Debra also worked as a Mary Kay consultant and would often times share her passion for beauty by offering haircuts and perms to her friends.

A true people person, she loved spending time with others, was very kind hearted and had the most infectious laugh. Debra enjoyed reading, liked to decorate her home in her spare time and adored spoiling her baby – Precious.

She is survived by her loving husband of 33 years, Dennis L. Evans; brothers, Roland Passwaters (Kay) and Matthew Passwaters (Michele); sisters, Evelyn Emmell (William) and Linda Chapman (Dave); nearest and dearest friend for more than 52 years, Debbie Lopez; and many nieces and nephews.

A visitation for family and friends will be held from 10 am until 11:30 am on Thursday morning, October 8, 2015 at the Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 1000 N. DuPont Parkway, New Castle, DE. Interment will be private.
