Dennis T. Singleton

Dennis T. Singleton, age 60, of New Castle, DE passed away on Tuesday, May 13, 2014.

Born in New Castle, Delaware on June 29, 1953, Dennis was a son of Paul Singleton Sr. and the late Elsie Merritt Mandalenakis.

He was a member of the Terrace Athletic Club.  Dennis enjoyed crabbing and fishing.  He was a devoted son, father, brother, and grandfather who adored spending time with his family.

Dennis is survived by his daughter, Tracy Gordon;  son, Dennis W. Shahan; siblings, Joanne Singleton, Paul Singleton, Steve Singleton, Dawn Moran, Toni DeRose, Christine Hanavin Ward and Allan DeRose; and granddaughter, Elena Shahan.

A memorial service will be held at 11 am on Wednesday morning, May 21, 2014, at the Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 1000 N. DuPont Parkway, New Castle, DE, where family and friends may visit from 10 am until 11 am.  Interment will be held privately.

In lieu of flowers, contributions to assist the family with funeral expenses may be sent in care of the Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home at the address listed above.
