  • Our hearts go out to your family at this time. I did bump into Devin a few times during the past few years. He was a caring and warm young man. His smile and easy fun nature was what we loved about him. I’ll always think of him as a young kid that my son, Todd used to love to play baseball with. May you find comfort and love from your family and friends during this time.

  • To Devin’s Family & Loved One’s:

Although Devin had only just recently began his new career at Lowe’s, he had already made a lasting impression on the customers he helped, and more importantly, with the associates and management team he worked beside and with daily.

Devin’s pride, work ethic, attention to detail, coupled with both his willingness and eagerness to learn was immeasurable.

The entire team at Lowe’s in Abingdon will miss Devin’s open and shining spirit; our thoughts and prayers go out to those he leaves behind.

If there is to be any solace and hope in this for anyone, and to keep your precious memories of Devin alive in your heart in your days of mourning, remember this….

    “Although you weep for me today, It’s never really goodbye, rather it’s only farewell;
farewell until we all meet again on that glorious day!”

  • To the Bearden and Clower families:
It is hard to put into words the pain and sorrow we feel for you since learning this morning of your loss. We know that your faith and the strength you take from it will help you through this time but please also know that if there is anything at all that we can do to help you we’re just a call away.

  • To Joe, Theresa and Dennis, and families,

I am so sorry to hear about Devin’s passing a few days ago. I believe he is in a peaceful place and knows that we who are here, in this life, love him and miss him. My hope for all of us is that the pain of what has happened will slowly subside, and we will remember the happy memories with Devin.

Much love to all of you,

    Kris

  • My deepest condolences to the Bearden and Clower families. I have many great memories of Devin from riding the bus together as young kids to hanging out in high school and college. I will never forget his fun loving and free spirit. Many prayers for peace and healing and hoping everyone hurting from his loss can find comfort in the good memories.

  • It’s hard to believe that someone who influenced my life as much as Devin is gone. Growing up with Devin absolutely made me who I am today and he will be missed dearly. Everytime I am at the beach or on a mountain DB will be with me in spirit. My heart and thoughts are with the Bearden and Clower family through this.

  • My condolences go out to Devin’s family. He was a bright light during his time in Houston. He had a personality that attracted people toward him and he could fit into any crowd. After he moved from the Houston area I would get the occasional text from him asking about a song that he had heard while working the Rodeo. He was talented beyond his years and had some good stories to tell. He loved sharing his stories about anything outdoors and places he had been. He will be missed by many, and my heart aches after hearing about his passing.

  • So sorry to learn of Devin’s passing. Whenever
he visited at our home Diana was so happy to have that time with him.
He was such a nice guy and I am very sorry for the family, parents and siblings.

  • Dennis, Theresa, Joe and children,

I just learned about the passing of your son and want to let you know my heart goes out to you. Life gives us happiness and heartaches that we must live through. May you find comfort in your wonderful memories of Devin! Bless you all!

  • I went to Eagle Rock with Devin and he was one of the funniest, most adventurous, competitive, wonderful people I have ever had the privilege of knowing. I send love and healing vibes to his family and loved ones
