Donald Baldassari, age 63, of Hockessin, DE, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 30, 2015.

A native Delawarean, Donnie was born in Wilmington on August 20, 1951, and was the son of the late Frank Baldassari and Palma (Iaconi) Baldassari. Donnie made his career as a mushroom grower and was well known throughout the local industry where he worked for nearly 50 years.

In his leisure time, he enjoyed fishing, cooking on the Traeger, and was an avid golfer. He also cherished the time he spent with his two granddaughters. Donnie was a devoted and loving father and grandfather and will be dearly missed by his family and many close friends.

He is survived by his daughters, Cristina, Annie and Deanna; 2 granddaughters Lena and Marcia; 2 sisters Mary Ann and Linda; and 1 brother John.

A graveside service will be held at 11AM on Monday, August 10, 2015, at Union Hill Cemetery, Route 82, Kennett Square, PA.
