Donald Dexter Hudson, age 87, of Delaware City, DE passed away peacefully on Friday, February 21, 2014 while surrounded by his loving family.
Born on February 23, 1926 in Morrisvale, WV, Donald was the son of the late Miles and Elizabeth Webb Hudson.
Donald is survived by his loving wife of 69 years, Dora J. Kersey Hudson; five daughters, Verna Sawyer (Patrick), Priscilla Haugh (Robert), Deborah Pedrick (David), Patricia Delle Donne (David) and Beverly Havens (Ed Ruba); four siblings, Juanita Eskins, James Hudson, Verna Dodson and Bobby Gene Elkins; eleven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
All services will be held privately.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the First Presbyterian Church of Delaware City, P.O. Box 4105, Delaware City, DE 19706-4105.
