  • My thoughts and sympathies are with your family during this difficult time. I hope you find peace and comfort in each other over your loss.

  • My heartfelt condolences go out to the Walsh daughters and their families with the loss of their mom and grandmother. Dorothy was a very thoughtful and caring person as evidenced in her personable approach and kind treatment to friends and strangers. I recall the traditional Christmas eve celebration at the Walsh home where family gatherings exhibited generosity and a remarkably quiet atmosphere, given the excitement of the season.

I vividly remember one of my first conversations with Dorothy initiated by my question, “Do you follow the Phillies?” Her face lit up as she discussed the past season and hope for the next. Her loyalty to the Phillies and preference for keeping up with the play-by-play via the radio waves impressed me immediately and remain a highlight memory.

Especially to Deborah Ann, Ronnie, and Billy as well as Kathy, Patty, Shari and their families, please accept my apologies for not being able to join you for the services, but know that my thoughts are indeed with you.

I extend prayers for comfort among the remaining family and friends with encouragement for all to stay close and supportive in keeping with the true values Mr. Joe and Mrs. Dorothy left behind.

    Much love,
    Frank

  • Frank,
I want to thank you for the beautiful letter you wrote. It was very well said and was a great tribute to Mom. My Mother and Father were the backbone of our family and we will stick together to carry on the traditions that they implemented many many years ago. I have peace in knowing that she is with her soulmate of 60 years and that they will be together for eternity. Thank you for your kind words during this very difficult time.

    With Love,

    The Walsh Girls and family.

  • Uncle Jerry,

Thank you for your comforting words about Mom. She was a great mother and grandmother who always put us first. I know she is with Dad in a better place but we miss them dearly.

    Love,
    The Walsh girls and family,
