Dorothy M. Forshey, age 89, of Newark, DE, passed away on Sunday, June 10, 2018.

Born in Williamsburg, PA on November 9, 1928, she was a daughter of the late David H. and Edith (Pupp) Moyer. Dorothy was a sales clerk at the Shader China Doll Factory for many years. Her hobbies included doll collecting and sewing.

In addition to her parents, Dorothy was preceded in death by her loving husband, Paul M. Forshey; brother, Richard Moyer; and her sister, Bertha Dunn. She is survived by her children, Frank D. Forshey, Barbara J. Gravatt (William) and Paul M. Forshey, Jr. (Cindy Ann); 8 grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren.

A visitation for family and friends will be held from 6 pm until 8 pm on Friday evening, June 15, 2018 at the Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 121 W. Park Place, Newark, DE. Interment will be held privately in Yellow Springs Lutheran Cemetery, Williamsburg, PA.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Dorothy’s name may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 22478, Oklahoma City, OK 73123.
