Earlene Elizabeth Barton, age 83, of Newark, DE, passed away on Monday, November 30, 2015.

Born in Bonham, TX on March 2, 1932, Earlene was the daughter of the late Earl Norman and Rebecca Elizabeth (Freeman) Tarpley. She was a loving mother and grandmother who will be dearly missed by many.

In addition to her parents, Earlene was preceded in death by her husband, John Edward Barton; a son, Earl Norman Barton; and a brother, William Tarpley. She is survived by her children, Rebecca Barton-Burkholder (Meryl), Kathryn Cardinale and Robert Barton (Lily); a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren; and 1 great great grandson.

Services will be held privately.
