6 Condolences for Eleanor T. (McMenamin) Cushing

  • Mary,
I’m sorry that I cannot make the funeral but I’m not well enough to come. I notified the rest of our nursing school classmates.
    Love,
    Helen Marie King

  • Aunt Eleanor was an amazing woman. I consider her my spiritual inspiration. I know my mom felt very blessed to have her as a sister and I felt the same way about having her for an aunt. Her love & devotion to Uncle Chiefie & her family was inspirational. I considered her chocolate chip cookies legendary. I will truly miss her & I will think of her often. My deepest sympathy to all the family for such a deep loss- but nothing but happiness for Aunt Eleanor because now she is reunited with her beloved husband. Peace & Love

  • I have known Mrs. Cushing and her family for my entire life. She was a wonderful person inside and out. She was a great neighbor and friend to my mother for over 60 years and now they will both be reunited to bake and volunteer as they did here on earth. It is a sad passing for everyone who had the privilege of knowing Mrs. Cushing. And….I too would go over to my mom’s house and see those yummy cookies on a plate on the counter and ask, “are they Mrs. Cushing’s cookies”?
My sympathy to all her family for their loss.

  • We offer our condolence to the family. We are dear friends of her sister Mary Jones.

  • Michael & Mark, I’m sorry for the loss of your mother. Thinking back to the games we played, touch football, relieveo, working for your brother Jack. Take care.

  • Cushion Family,
