  • Loving person from the first time I met Betty we were friends .I’m sorry for the loss of such a loved wife, mother, Grand MA and friend

  • Betty was a wonderful mentor to so many teenagers that came to Newark Baptist Church. I owe such a great debt of gratitude to this woman! I have so many wonderful memories of her and will always cherish the spiritual impact that she had on my life. She taught me to read my Bible and to pray about everything. She taught me to give to others and to put Christ first in my life. I have always applied the principles that she taught me and have never regretted living my life for Christ. My deepest sympathy goes to the entire family. I am praying for all of you during this time. May God bless and comfort all of you during this time.

  • To all of her family with regret of her passing. She was a spiritual friend and prayer partner
every Sunday morning along with her mother Ruth for a long time. I am sorry I didn’t get to
see her in the recent years as at that time I lived in Milford but now in Middletown. I know
she is rejoicing with her mother and father in the presence of Jesus. What a future in
ETERNITY! My prayers are with all of you. Most of all I pray all of you will come to know
the God, Holy Spirit, and Jesus that she has known and now her faith has become sight.
    Respectfully, Kathy Alphin
