Elsie H. Bixler

Elsie H. (Niblet) Bixler, age 86, of Tucson, AZ, and formerly of Wilmington, DE, passed away peacefully, on Wednesday, June 29, 2016.
Elsie was born in Wilmington on July 26, 1929, and was the daughter of the late Herman Francis and Mary Niblet. She was a life member and past Pocahontas with the Improved Order of Red Men in Wilmington.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dee Bixler. Elsie is survived by her daughters, Melody Brady (Karl) of Byford, Australia, Cindy Richey of Benson, AZ, and Frances Dee Curriden of Rehoboth Beach; 2 foster sons; 7 grandchildren; and 5 great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at 11 am on Saturday morning, June 17, 2017 in the Gracelawn Memorial Park, 2220 N. DuPont Parkway, New Castle, DE.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Delaware Humane Association, 701 A Street, Wilmington, DE 19801 or to the Missionary Society of Richardson Park U.M.C., 11 N Maryland Ave., Wilmington, DE 19804.
