A visitation for family and friends will be held from 6 pm until 8 pm on Tuesday evening, January 12, 2016 at the Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 1000 N. DuPont Parkway, New Castle, DE. A funeral service will be held at 9:30 am on Wednesday morning, January 13, 2016, at the funeral home. My deepest sympathy to Dave and family. Joyce will be missed in many ways, but it will be especially unusual not to have her sharing the office we were in at Coldwell Banker Preferred. I will miss her deeply.

I only knew Joyce for a few months, but I came to truly like and admire her. She will be very much missed, not for all that she did, but for who she was. A wonderful, kind lady.

To the Haan family. We are so saddened by Joyce’s passing. I worked with her at CB Preferred and shared many stories and tons of laughs. She especially loved when my son Gavin came to see her. She treated him like a grandson.
Heaven has gained an amazing Angel who will shed her light on all who knew her and loved her.
    With deepest condolences-

Dave and Jessica, I am so sorry for your loss and I am sending my deepest, sincerest sympathies to you and yours. I met Joyce when she showed me my home of the last 2 years, when she made me feel welcome, cared for and instantly, friends. When we would run into each other at the grocery store, she would share, with so much joy, what was happening in her family life. And, being dog lovers, we shared those stories as well, and when I asked her about adopting another puppy, she said yes, with no hesitation. Joyce was funny, caring, understanding and patient and I was just a tenant. I can only imagine, how deeply she must have touched others in her life. Joyce will surely be missed.
