Polly graduated from Coatesville High School on June 2, 1944 and Coatesville Hospital School of Nursing in 1947. Polly was strong, kind and gentle-mannered. She was instantly loved by anyone she met. Polly always put the needs of others before her own, never thinking of herself first. She was a devoted wife and mother who adored caring for her family. She enjoyed traveling, tending to her flowers and trees, making baskets and caning chairs and her antiques.

In addition to her parents, Polly was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Louis J. Maco, Sr., her sister, Mildred Wanner Webster, brothers-in-law, Robert B. Webster and Joseph Yankech, niece, Mary Alice Webster and nephew, Robert Webster, Jr. She is survived by her daughter, Mary Patrece “Trece” Maco of Newark, DE; sons, Louis J. “Jody” Maco, Jr. of Metairie, LA and Dayton Michael “Daytie” Maco of Sterling, VA; and 3 grandchildren, Phillip Wesley Maco of Pearl River, LA and Trevor Andrew and Hunter Tyler Maco, both of Sterling, VA.

Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 11 am on Friday morning, May 16, 2014 at St. Malachi’s R.C.
