Eva Saxfield, age 96, of Newark, DE, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 28, 2015.
She was born October 17, 1918 in Jeanette, PA. She grew up in Cecil County, MD and also lived in Palm Bay, FL after retiring from the Delaware State Hospital where she worked as nurse for 30 plus years.
She is survived by her brother Peter Cherwaty, granddaughters Laura Saxfield and Sherry Eastburn, great grandchildren Chanse, Carlie, Nathan, Katelyn, Jordyn and Connor and close friend Georgina.
A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held at 6:30PM on Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 121 West Park Place, Newark, DE 19711. Family and friends may visit at 6:15PM.
