9 Condolences for Francis Walker

  • After reading his obituary, Franny lived the best life a man could. Well done, well done indeed.

  • My thoughts and prayers to the family. He will surely be missed. My condolonces to all. Gone but never forgotten.

  • Very sad times for our Fire Company and a lot of us personally. This man was loved by so many. Never had a bad thing to say about anything or anyone. Went about things the right way and was a valued asset to our Fire Company. I always enjoyed talking with him and especially when it was windy out…… Franny always said when it was windy out, it was time for a good marsh fire. You could always see Franny walking around the station outside picking up trash, cleaning up after others and would always take care of our flags out front. If it was going to rain, Franny would take them down and put them back up when it was time. There is no doubt he loved being a fire policeman.and the fire company showed the respect and commitment to Franny as he was appointed as one of our Fire Policeman by 10 different Fire Chiefs for close to 50 years. We lost another Pioneer at the Delaware City Fire Company, but his legacy will last forever. Go Rest in Peace Francis, it was my pleasure to know you and to serve with you. I will miss you my friend…………………
