Frank D. Racz, Sr.

Frank D. Racz, Sr., age 66, of Newark, DE, passed away on Saturday, November 28, 2015, surrounded by loved ones.

Born in Henderson, MD on May 14, 1949, he was a son of the late Joseph E. and Mary Jean (Eyles) Racz, Sr. Frank proudly served his country in the US Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. Following his discharge, Frank began a career as a driver for United Parcel Service in Newark, retiring after 30 years of dedicated service.

In addition to his parents, Frank was preceded in death by a sister, Joanne Shaver. He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Nancy E. (Stoner) Racz; children, Christine L March (Jon) of West Grove, PA, Frank D. Racz, Jr. and Gregory W. Racz, both of Newark; siblings, Joseph E. Racz, Jr. (Linda) of Lewes, Patricia J. Shufelt of Frederica; and grandsons, Tristan, Julian, Nathan, and Tyler March.

A committal service with military honors will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, December 8, 2015, in the chapel of the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 2465 Chesapeake City Road, Bear.
