Born July 3, 1960

Frank L. Pragg, age 54, of Newark, DE, passed away suddenly on Thursday, April 30, 2015.

A native Delawarean, Frank was born in Wilmington on July 3, 1960, and was a son of the late Isiah Merritt Pragg and Carlyss Mae (Little) Pragg. He made his career as a delivery truck driver with NKS Distributors, where he dedicated over 30 years of service.

Frank adored anything related to cars and motorcycles. He spent many happy hours riding his Harley Davidson, enjoyed working on his 1955 Chevy car and was an avid NASCAR fan. In his leisure time, Frank liked restoring old bird houses. He was first and foremost a family man who loved spending time with his family. Frank will be remembered as a devoted and caring husband, father, brother, grandfather, uncle, cousin and friend to many.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 3 brothers and 1 sister. Frank is survived by his beloved wife of 32 years, Deborah L. (Westbrook) Pragg; sons, Matthew Pragg (Lisa) and Dwayne Pragg (Sarah); granddaughter, Kylie Pragg; 6 brothers; 5 sisters; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A visitation for family and friends will be held from 5 pm until 7 pm on Thursday evening, May 7, 2015 at the Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 121 W. Park Place, Newark, DE. A funeral service will be held at 11 am on Friday morning, May 8, 2015, at the Kingswood United Methodist Church, 300 Marrows Road, Newark, DE 19713. Interment will follow in Gracelawn Memorial Park, 2220 N. DuPont Parkway, New Castle, DE.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Frank’s name may be made to the Kingswood United Methodist Church, at the adddress listed above.

    Words can never describe how I feel right now & Im so very sorry for your loss. Im so greatful that I had Frank as my “uncle” & am so blessed & honored that he stood for my father that night, in my parents kitchen & played a huge part in my marriage. I dont think my dad would have wanted any other man, than his best buddy, by my side that night. I take comfort in knowing they are together & thru the tears, I manage to smile because I can just picture them. He was always there for me & loved Jas, “Mogan” & Madi like they were his own blood & to that Im thankful. Great man doesn’t even begin to describe Uncle Frank… He is so dearly missed & never will be forgotten… thank you for the love & all of the memories!
