  • My thoughts are with you all. Prayers are flying for peace and comfort. I am sorry for your loss but grateful that his pain is over. I hope the wonderful memories carry you through the most difficult days. I have many memories of time spent with Gene and my Dad at concerts, guard functions and get togethers. My Dad has told many stories over the years about their adventures traveling with the Guards, and their friendship. All of the stories and memories were filled with laughter and I am glad they were such great friends over the years. He will be missed by all who knew him. I let the crew in Nashville know of his passing and they send their love and gratitude for having known him. April, please let us know if there is anything at all that we can do to support you through the days ahead. Love – Sandi
