George Allen Brown
Born April 27, 1940
George Allen Brown, loving father and grandfather, age 76, of Ruckersville, VA, died on Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at Martha Jefferson Hospital in Charlottesville, VA.
George, a life-long Orioles and diehard Redskins fan, was born in Baltimore, MD on April 27, 1940. He was the son of the late George Kennard Brown and Elizabeth Viola Brown. George loved his family, friends, playing golf, and living life to the fullest.
He is survived by his sons, Brian Kennard Brown and his wife, Diana, and Randy Allen Brown and his fiancée, Jennifer; 3 grandsons, Simon, Griffin, and Davis; and beloved friend, Alice Wallwork.
In addition to his parents, George was preceded in death by his devoted wife of 46 years, Judy Wollaston Brown; sisters, Betty Jean Harvey and Shirley Dilks; and brothers-in-law, Dick Harvey and George (Sonny) Dilks.
A visitation for family and friends will be held from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm on Wednesday afternoon, April 26, 2017, in the chapel of Gracelawn Memorial Park, 2220 N. DuPont Parkway, New Castle, DE, where a funeral service will begin at 2:00 pm. Interment will follow in the adjoining memorial park.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Feeding Greene, The Food Pantry of Greene County, 41 Ford Ave, Stanardsville, VA 22973.

Brian and Randy unfortunately I saw the obituary for your Dad. I am sure you will miss your him He was a good guy and he and I were very good friends. We met at Blue Cross of DE and shared many good times together. He also was the best man in my wedding in 1977.
I remember you guys as youngsters and being on vacation with you in Rehoboth.
