  • My wife and I had the good fortune of having Jerry as friend for more than 50 years. He was a man who would offer his help to anyone in need. He was also a highly skilled woodworker. His skills spanned carpentry to turning bowls on his lathe and even included creating custom made ball point pens. My wife and I became active in the game/sport of geocaching back in 2005 while vacationing in California. When we returned to Delaware and told Jerry and his wife about this, they, too, took up the sport. All four of us had many happy adventures out there on the geocaching trail. In fact for the last five years Jerry and I would meet for lunch every Monday then spend the rest of the afternoon geocaching.

I could go on and on but the most important thing is Jerry Maxwell was a man of many talents and a dear friend. He will be deeply missed.
