  • To the Linhoff family and to all Gerri’s friends,
I am sorry for your loss. I have known Gerri since I was a teenager way before Robin was born. I babysat for her children and took care of her at Joan’s house when she was pregnant with Robin. Please know that she has been in my prayers for a while and I was glad I got to see her once again when I visited Delaware in 2014. My prayers are with her family and friends during this time. Gerri is now wrapped in the arms of her Savior, without pain or worries and has been reunited with her family that have been saving her a place in their Heavenly Kingdom.

    With deepest sympathy,

    Bev Churchwell

  • Robin, David and your families we give our deepest sympathy at the loss of your dear Mother and Grandmother. She was a great lady and loved by so many of her friends. We will surely miss her friendly face at our Friday breakfasts, her delicious fudge at Christmas and all her funny stories and jokes. She is with the Lord now and someday we shall all meet again. Keep in touch.

    With deepest sympathy,

    Carol and Skip Williams

  • To Gerri’s family, neighbors and friends:

I have known Gerri as a neighbor, babysitter for her children, bowling team member, co-worker and friend. I loved her humor, honesty, and love for her family. She shared recipes and vegetables from her garden freely. She was a caring friend to all who were lucky enough to know her. I am grateful to have had the opportunity to spend several hours with her last Saturday in Christiana, sharing pictures, memories, and lots of laughter. She reminded me of many good times over the years, and remained a very strong lady. I am grateful for that time, and send my condolences to Joan, her friend of 57 years, Robin, David and all her family. There is comfort in knowing she has joined the family members who she dearly missed, and will rest in peace, free of discomfort. A life well lived, and rest well earned.

    Fondly. Joanne Grant
