Gladys A. Howell, age 97, of New Castle, DE, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 4, 2014.
Born in Townsend, DE on August 5, 1917, Gladys was the daughter of the late Benjamin R. Wells and Katie Gill Wells. She was a loving mother and greatly enjoyed her role as a devoted homemaker.
In addition to her parents, Gladys was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Frank Howell. She is survived by her daughter, Joyce Kapp of New Castle; niece, Kathleen Worth of Wilmington; 1 nephew; and 2 additional nieces.
Services were held privately. Interment will be held privately in the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Bear, DE.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be sent to a charity of your choice.
