Glenna G. Wilborn
Born August 1, 1922
Mrs. Glenna G. Wilborn, age 91, of Goldsboro, NC and formerly of Newark, DE, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 3, 2014.
Mrs. Wilborn was born in Charleston, WV on August 1, 1922. Prior to moving to Delaware, she resided in both England and Germany while her husband served in the United States Air Force. Mrs. Wilborn retired from the Delaware State Hospital in 1984 after 21 years of dedicated service.
A patriot at heart, she was a proud military wife and very involved in supporting the Republican Party. Mrs. Wilborn possessed a strong faith in God and her church. A loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, she adored spending time with her family and friends.
In addition to her parents and siblings, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harold S. Wilborn, daughter, Judy Wierzbicki, and grandsons, Bill Hash, Jr. and Joseph Farnan, Jr. Mrs. Wilborn leaves to cherish her memory, her daughter, Delores Elliot; grandchildren, Kellie Di Tomasso-DiMaio (John), Lonnie Hash (Perla), Lori Hash-Webb (Don), and Randy Hash; and 11 great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 11 am on Friday morning, January 10, 2014 at the Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 1000 N. DuPont Parkway, New Castle, DE, where friends are invited to call from 10 am until 11 am. Entombment will follow in Gracelawn Memorial Park, 2220 N. DuPont Parkway, New Castle, DE.

I am so sorry to read that Mrs. Wilborn has passed away in death. Please accept my family’s condolences. May your hearts find peace and comfort from the Bible’s promise at John chapter 5 verses 28 and 29 and Psalms chapter 37 verse 29 which shows that soon God is going to resurrect back to life on earth our loved ones who have died so that we can be reunited with them.
