Helen was a mother figure to the kids at our treatment center, and some of us staff too! Her love and care was unmatched. She leaves behind a wake of love, blessing, and yes, pain. It’s the type of heart ache that can only come from missing an unreplaceable presence in one’s life. The pain is the only thing that will in time subside. Her love and the blessing of having known her will live forever! Miss you so much my friend. Dan

Biggie – So sad that Helen has passed away. She was the first person that my Dad “Big Ed” thought of to cater my wedding. He thought a lot of both of you and I know that all her dearest friends Nancy, Barb and all the crew will keep her in their hearts forever. She was a very special lady! Our hearts go out to you. With deepest sympathy, Kathy and Earl Attix

Biggie and family, I’m so very sorry for the loss of Helen, she was one of the sweetest people I ever knew, so talented not to mention beautiful. She will be sadly missed by a lot of people. May the Lord ease your grief and give you peace that passes all understanding. Know that we will see her again one day, she’s with Barb and the rest. She only moved up to her mansion. Jesus said,…Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father’s house are many mansions: I go to prepare a place for you. John 14: v.1&2.

Love and prayers to you, Dianne (Sturgeon) Leifheit and family

Sorry to hear of Helen’s death. My father was a long-time patron of Kelly’s and had some good stories to tell about Helen’s father. That always made me feel connected to Helen although we were only acquaintances. She’ll be missed.
