Henrietta Cerf

Mrs. Henrietta Cerf, age 87, of Milton, DE, formerly of Newark, passed away on Sunday, September 1, 2013
Born in Naples, Italy on August 1, 1926, Mrs. Cerf was the daughter of the late Antonio Maiori and Bianca Mona Maiori. An actress in both the Italian and American theater and radio, Mrs. Cerf was also an accomplished singer, artist, and teacher. A graduate of the University of Delaware, she worked for Claymore Senior Center as the Assistant Director. She was a loving daughter, wife, mother, and nonna. Mrs. Cerf loved all animals, especially cats.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Kurt Cerf. She is survived by her son, Robert Cerf, daughter-in-law, Kelly Cerf, and grandchildren, Michael Cerf, William Cerf, and Kathryn Cerf, all of Milton; her brother, Renato Maiori of Newark, and nephew, Richard Maiori, of Dorset, VT.
Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10:30 am on Saturday, September 7, 2013, at Holy Family R.C. Church, E. Chestnut Hill and Gender Roads, Newark, where visitation will begin at 9:30 am. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery, 6001 Kirkwood Highway, Wilmington.
