Born April 11, 1938

Illiana Gale Fioravaniti, age 76, of New Castle, DE, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 14, 2014.

Tina was born on April 11, 1938 in Walton, New York and was a daughter of the late George Prentice and Ethel Baker Prentice. At the age of 13, she moved along with her family to Delaware where she resided until her passing.

Known by all for her large, giving heart, Tina loved helping others. She adored spending time with her family and especially enjoyed hosting family dinners and gatherings. A devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother and friend, Tina will be dearly missed by all.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Bernardo F. Fioravaniti, Jr and daughter, Dawn Noble. Tina is survived by her children, Diana Breakiron (David), Glenda Becker, William Noble, John Noble, Matt Fioravaniti (Jeri) and Paul Christopher; sister, Gerline Scofield; 17 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; and 2 great great grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at 11 am on Friday morning, July 18, 2014, at The Chapel of Gracelawn Memorial Park, 2220 N. DuPont Parkway, New Castle, DE. Interment will follow in the adjoining memorial park.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 7023, Merrifield, VA 22116-7023 or to the American Heart Association, 200 Continental Drive, Ste. 101 Newark, DE 19713.
