2 Condolences for Ingeborg A. F. McCarnan

  • My husband, Reid and I first met your mother when we celebrated your Dad’s birthday over dinner one evening. I distinctly remember how friendly and vivacious Inge was that night although I can’t remember how we came to talk about her joining our Boyd’s Flowers family.
She was caring to all, dedicated to our business and became a valued friend. Over the years we heard many stories of how proud she was of her children and the activities of her grandchildren.
Our thoughts are with you and we will always cherish the memories of our time with your Mom.

    Sincerely,
    Linda Roop Kellogg and Family

  • My family has lived across the street from your mother/grandmother my entire life – I think since my parents moved to Jay Drive in the early 1950s. My brothers, Daniel, and George Jr. and I don’t remember ever not seeing her around, and our parents (Helene, deceased 1990 and George Sr., deceased 2013) knew her well and I remember my mother speaking of their acquaintance. My girlfriend who moved in here with George and me in January, 2014, loved and was amazed by seeing Mrs. McC. still taking out her own trash cans, year round – by the time we’d noticed it was always too late to hurry out and offer to help her. She was a fixture of our neighborhood.

We’re very sorry for your loss.
