I am heartbroken! Bucky was a wonderful brother-in-law. My husband Ed W. Hinton was the oldest but Bucky was Junior and took care of all the Hinton family in Holloway Terrace. He was especially proud of the Holloway Terrace Fire Company to which he and his wife, Irene, devoted most of their lives to creating an unmatched legacy for the Delaware “natives” and their progeny! Bucky – you were one special man and one of my favorite cousins! So sad for your kids and remaining sister, Abbie, and brother Willard. The sadness for you and the rest of the family was even more tragic because you lost your beloved wife, Irene, less than a month ago and your older brother Edward in April.
My you rest in peace with the Lord as you are together again with Irene, your brothers Edward and Bobby, your parents and all the wonderful family members who have gone before us!
Joe joins me in sympathy for all those left to mourn your loss!
Love and Peace!
Betty

My deepest sympathy to the family. Your mom and dad were our very good friends when we lived in Holloway Terrace. We always hung around together at the fire company, parading, etc. Your dad and my husband Bob (Passed away 2011), were best friends growing up in the Terrace. I did not realize how ill your parents were. My love and prayers go out to all of you. They were special friends and I will miss them. God Bless.
