James M. Holloway, age 51, of Newark, DE, passed away suddenly on Friday, December 25, 2015.
Born in Wilmington, DE, on April 11, 1964, Jim was a son of Paul E. and Sylvia A. (Biddle) Holloway. He made his career as a computer design engineer at KBR, Inc., Newark.
An avid outdoorsman, Jim loved hunting, fishing, boating and riding his Harley. Every year he looked forward to his annual Trap Pond camping trip with all of The Billys. Jim was a member of Jackson Lodge No. 19 Ancient Free and Accepted Masons, Delaware City. A 32nd Degree Mason, he was also a member of The Valley of Wilmington Scottish Rite.
In addition to his parents, Jim is survived by his brothers, William E. Holloway (Cathy) of Chadds Ford, PA, Mark E. Holloway of Rising Sun, MD and David P. Holloway (Michelle) of Middletown; and nieces and nephews, Megan, Benjamin, Sarah, Emily, Jessica, Tyler, and Connor Holloway.
A visitation will be held after 11 am on Saturday, January 2, 2016, at Asbury United Methodist Church, 300 E. Basin Road, New Castle, DE, 19720, where a Masonic service will begin at 11:50 am, followed by a memorial service at 12 noon. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Asbury United Methodist Church at the address listed above.
