    Thomas Family,
We can’t know why some things happen….but we can know that love and beautiful memories outlast the pain of grief. And we can know that there’s a place inside the heart where love lives always….and where nothing beautiful can ever be forgotten….Mr. Thomas was a great man with a great heart. I’m sorry for your loss.

“God saw you were getting tired
And a cure was not meant to be
So he put his arms around you
    And whispered, ‘Come to me’
With tearful eyes we watched you
    And saw you pass away
    Although we loved you dearly
We could not make you stay
    A golden heart stopped beating
    Hard working hands at rest
God broke our hearts to prove to us
    He only takes the best.”

I am so sorry for your loss and the pain that fills your hearts today. What will help get you through this time is knowing that Mike’s work on earth is done and he has gone to receive his reward. Where he will be with Jesus and countless loved ones forever more, and not feel any more pain. The separation is only temporary, as we know we will join him one day. My thoughts and love and prayers are with all of you.
